I came across a very tasty fruit cake recipe recently that is very good for anyone suffering from cholerestol.
1 kg mixed fruit
2 cups pineapple juice
2 cups SR flour
Soak flour in fruit juice for several hours/overnight, and sift in flour. Bake in oven 1.1/2 hrs on 160 deg C. I add some nutmeg/cinnamon, and replace 1/2 cup juice with sherry. Bon appetite.
