    I really like the last song and leave feeling very relaxed. Could you let me know what the music is ?
    Might have to play it at home when things get stressful !!

  5. I totaly agree with what Angela had to say Galy.
    you are already giving a great class that covers every thing.
    i missed the arobic and pilate session this week.
    personally dont think there is any need for change.
    The classes have been amazing,over the last eight weeks, and benifical for all areas.
    please dont change it.
    your class is so different from any of the other classes, and with the variety, anyone that does your class only, gets a great work out.
    thanks Galy for being there for us all.
    love the little stories you have to tell us on stage as well.

      I totally love our classes as well and after a lot off feedback it is back to the old format.
      I want everyone to experience all that we can offer and then go with what works.
      Back to the old format and back to the stories..

    I tend to agree with you and I just did a little checking.
    You know you are on…we will stay in our old format…
    ROCK and ROLL it is…
    When we do three classes a week which I hope it will happen when I come back I will add variety classes in the 3rd one..

Whilst the Thursday bar weight class was good in itself (apart from the music, I get enough of that from the kids), I much prefer a class with more variety and focused on overall fitness, particularly aerobic. I feel there are pleanty “weight workout” classes already. An inspiring aerobic with weight workout like you have done in the past with fantastic music is just perfect. I feel like I get no aerobic effort and as this would be the only intense weight workout of the week I am just left with some sore muscles, no sweat and no endorphins 🙂 So…. please stay with the rock ‘n roll greats and your fantastic aerobic workout!!!

    youy class and the Aqua, is the best thing for me, wouldnt want to choose.
    A fantasic class today Galy, loved the music as well.

  9. Glad you were able to change the Young at Heart timetable back to 9.30 on a Monday. We were getting worried about what to do – whether to keep going to Young at Heart and forego Aqua or what. I enjoy getting started for the week doing your class first followed by Aqua.

  11. Last Thursday before Y@H I used the ‘hamstring’ machine upstairs for the first time, setting the timer for a minute. I found it quite relaxing lying back (obviously not using my core) with my eyes closed, and during your class Galy, I thought my flexibility had improved a bit when reaching for my toes.

    Galy, I’m wondering if you recommend using this machine, and if so for what duration. I stretched my legs separately, but can both legs be stretched at the same time. I recall you saying that when giving personal training your advice to your clients is not to use the
    machines which give back support, thereby encouraging them to use their core muscles.

    I saw you poolside talking to Matt this morning – you looked very regal wearing your crown !! It’s quite amazing that so many of the Gym staff run their normal classes on a long weekend. Hope you get penalty rates.

      • Hi Galy was reading about lennette wanting ham string and glutes excercises.
        I am troubled with very bad arthritus in my left leg and cant bend it very well.
        please would you be able to help me, with the right excercises.
        nothing seems to be helping so far.

      • I am off to Adelaide for the Long Weekend and going with friends to check out the water in lake Eyre….. I will try to keep up some excercise other than walking… and elbow bending!

  13. Enjoyed class this morning unfortunately can only attend on Mondays so will try to do exercises at gym on other days……Still don’t know how to tighten glutes? or hamstring.

      I will send you the exercises over email and with practice you will active the glutes and hammy’s.
      Catch me after class or around the gym and let’s work together to make sure you do..
